The Watcher

Behind the curtain, here I sit
And watch the world go by
No one can see me where I sit
They cannot catch my eye

They cannot see this little room
Cluttered and forlorn
No one even knows I'm here
ANd they won't know when I'm gone

  1. Behind the curtain you may be
Watching folk just you can see.
Living lives of joy and woe
    Hidden hurts you'll never know.
Just wonder at their personal pain
And perhaps you'll pray and watch again.
    The loneliness in every soul
God sees them, loves them, cares for all.
Perhaps my friend he's put you there
To show a little of his care
As you lift them up to him in prayer
And WE'D ALL CARE IF YOU WEREN'T THERE!

    Love from Sheila :-]
